Dr. Rebekah Miller Afsari ND, LMP

Dr. Rebekah offers a holistic approach to naturopathic medicine, employing different modalities depending on the individual needs of the patient. She is passionate about helping people to find and sink into the still small voice within, which so often is lost in the chaos of our busy lives. Reconnecting with your inner voice is facilitated not only through listening to your words but by listening to your body through hands on therapies.

Rebekah approach’s patient care using the principle in naturopathic medicine that the body has the innate ability to heal itself. Rebekah offers a uniquely tailored form of eclectic naturopathic medicine to assist your journey toward health. These may include modalities such as: botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, mind body techniques, lifestyle and nutritional counseling.

She became interested in midwifery from an early age an interest which further intensified when she lived with a midwife in New Zealand in 2010. “I always believed that classic image of a midwife as an older experienced wise woman in a small community, who has seen many births and helps younger women through the process. Through my travels to other countries over the last 15 years, my image of the various modern forms of midwifery has been expanded; but I still cling to the belief that midwife is first and foremost a guide and safety net for women as they emerge into motherhood. For that is what midwifery is to me; it not a job but a calling of the deepest nature to listen, nurture, and guide women on their own unique journey through pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. To help them connect with their still small voice within and help it to grow into a powerful guiding force in their life.

Dr Rebekah is not practicing midwifery at this time. She is still providing prenatal, postpartum, and virtual labor support as a Doula and Naturopath.

Along with her passion for women’s health Dr. Rebekah is passionate about working with patients with various neurological conditions such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Concussions, Traumatic Brain Injuries, as well as working with neurodiverse patients, patients with gastrointestinal conditions, chronic infections, autoimmune conditions and cancer.

When not seeing patients, Dr Rebekah enjoys spending time working in the garden, growing her own food and medicine, and exploring the PNW with her husband and two small kids.
